Remember how it used to be?

Grabbing a drink with someone is a timeless way of catching up with an old friend, bonding with a current friend, or socializing to build a new friendship.

The storm of 2020 has caused a lot less of these interactions which has expedited the already rapidly growing issue of people becoming disconnected from each other.

Social media has turned us into a society where scrolling and liking have become king in a world where more hugs and kisses are needed. COVID has compounded this issue even further and forced people to stay away from each other and disconnect even further.

This chain of events has caused warm greetings and fellowship to seem foreign and the new age of relationships involves interactions between an individual and their own personal glass screen which displays information about someone else that is looking at their glass screen and you both are talking about what someone else typed up in their apartment on their glass screen and posted it for everyone who has a glass screen to see.

Somewhere along the way, we sacrificed hard-earned, deep connections with one another for massively efficient ways to connect with more people on a more shallow level.

Typing this up on my computer definitely feels ironic… but my goal is to tap into those old-fashioned connections and get people back to sharing the joy of their favorite drinks with someone they care about without just shooting them a text or a picture of a bottle just to have them go out and pay for an entire bottle to find out they don’t like it.

This will hopefully be an avenue to not only bond with friends and family in a way that is unfortunately foreign now but to also share a taste of your favorite drinks with those you do not get to see as often as you’d like.
